Massage for Rehabilitation

Saturday March 2, 2024 (8:00 am- 5:00 pm) and
Sunday March 3, 2024 (8:00 am – 12:00 pm)

Course Description

The course will cover massage techniques that can be used to treat musculoskeletal, post-surgical and chronic conditions related to neck, low back, hips, shoulders, and knees. ROM, stretching, and over the clothes and skin on skin techniques will be demonstrated. Lymphatic drainage techniques will also be demonstrated. I will demonstrate how and when to include upping and scrapping techniques (these techniques can only be utilized by those clinicians that took a course on those modalities). This is a hands-on course so please be prepared to do the work, as well as receive work. There will be many situations where you will need to undress so the techniques can be performed effectively. Proper draping techniques will be utilized and taught.
