Return to Work Services

RIM's Return-to-Work program focuses on getting injured employees back to work quickly and safely. We provide evaluation, treatment, and work re-entry services for individuals recovering from job-related injuries or an illness that limits work performance. Our experienced treatment team of physical and occupational therapists works with each employee, along with his or her case manager and insurance company, to achieve measurable results.

Work injury rehab services include:

  • Functional capacity evaluation: Tests, practices and observations that help determine a person’s ability to work; often required by insurers when an insured person applies for disability payments or pension
  • Work hardening: A highly structured, individualized treatment which cultivates a person's ability to return to work using real or simulated work
  • Work conditioning
  • Ergonomic evaluation
  • Job site analysis
  • Job coaching
  • Light duty job consultation
