peds-rehab360x190DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) is the official provider of rehabilitation services for DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan. That means our pediatric rehab specialists have both the expertise and experience to treat children the right way. RIM’s pediatric rehab program treats children, from birth to young adult, who have impairments or conditions as the result of an injury, illness or developmental disability. The primary focus of the program is to help each child improve his or her function at home, in school, and in the community.

Based on your child's needs, his or her rehabilitation program will focus on:

We provide customized services for many conditions, including:

  • Cerebral palsy

Children's Hospital of Michigan's inpatient program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and is staffed by pediatric specialists in the areas of:

Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation

Our four outpatient locations are kid-friendly and staffed with physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. All of RIM's pediatric rehab specialists are experienced in the complexities of pediatric disability and rehabilitation.,
