Volunteer

Volunteers are an integral part of DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) and can make a tremendous impact on a patient and their family during their rehabilitation program.

You must be at least 15 years of age to volunteer at RIM. We ask for a weekly commitment of at least three hours a week for a minimum of 100 hours of consecutive service. This is approximately two semesters or eight months. Volunteers are needed year-round, however, summer only opportunities are limited and require a commitment of at least six hours a week for a minimum of 50 hours of consistent service.

Please note that our 2012 summer volunteer program is full. We will begin accepting applications for the summer of 2013 in March, 2013. Volunteers are still needed for fall, winter and spring months.
