Subjective Fatigue in Persons with TBI

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate existing fatigue item questions to determine what additional items need to be added to adequately and accurately measure the fatigue reported by persons who have sustained a traumatic brain injury. This study will be conducted in 3 phases:
Phase 1 – Focus groups
Phase 2 – Data collection will occur in conjunction with scheduled TBI National Database follow-up interviews which occur at Years 1, 2, 4, 10 and every 5 years thereafter. Each participant will only complete the fatigue item pool once.
Phase 3 – Statistical analysis, manuscript preparation and dissemination.
