As one of the nation's largest rehabilitation hospitals, RIM treats a large volume of orthopedic patients each year, meaning our staff is knowledgeable and experienced in treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. Patients admitted to our inpatient orthopedic unit include those who experience fractures, total joint (knee and hip) replacements, joint replacement revisions, spinal surgery and external fixation. RIM's staff is especially adept at treating patients with complicated orthopedic conditions, such as major multiple trauma and fractures of the upper and lower extremities.
