Dr. Ahmed is a board-certified physiatrist who joined the Wayne State University Physician Group at DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in 2012. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Ahmed graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY and completed his residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Ahmed also completed an Interventional Pain Fellowship at the Utah Center for Pain Management and Research in Provo, UT.
His specialty interests include musculoskeletal medicine, interventional spine and joint injections, and electrodiagnostic studies.
