Michael H. Rainer, MD joined the physiatry staff at Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in 2004. Dr. Rainer graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where he served as chief resident. Upon obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Rainer completed a general surgery residency at the Detroit Medical Center. He has also been certified in lumbar ESI and facet joint injections as well as fluoroscopic guided SI joint and hip injections.
