A System of Traumatic Brain Injury Research
Welcome to the Southeastern Michigan Traumatic Brain Injury System (SEMTBIS) website. We are a traumatic brain injury (TBI) longitudinal program funded through the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), which is part of the U.S. Department of Education.
The SEMTBIS is housed at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) in Detroit, Michigan. RIM is part of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) which is a network of academic health care facilities that are associated with Wayne State University.
